Quick Setup Guide: Install IPTV on NVIDIA Shield
Follow our simple steps to set up IPTV on Nvidia Shield device
Step 1: Home Screen
Turn on your NVIDIA Shield and make sure it’s connected to Wi-Fi.
From the Home Screen, go to the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Search for Downloader App
In the Play Store, use the search bar and type Downloader.
It’s the orange app by AFTVnews.
Step 3: Install Downloader
Select the Downloader app from the search results and click Install.
Once installed, click Open.
Step 4: Enable Unknown Apps for Downloader
Go to Settings → Apps → Security & Restrictions (or “Special app access”).
Find Install Unknown Apps.
Turn ON permission for Downloader.
This allows Downloader to install APK files.
Step 5: Download IPTV Trex APK
Open Downloader.
Allow any permissions it requests.
In Downloader’s URL field, enter either the code 3668373 or the URL https://go.aftvnews.com/3668373
Click Go.
Step 6: Install the App
Step 7: Add Your IPTV Playlist
Once IPTV Trex launches:
Click the Add button on the top left.
Choose Trex VIP (or your provider option).
Enter:
Playlist Name (any name)
Username
Password
Press +ADD PLAYLIST.
